METHOD FOR MAKING RED GINSENG EXTRACT POWDER HAVING EXELLENT PHYSICAL PROPERTIES AND ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY

The present invention relates to a method for producing red ginseng extract powder having excellent physical properties and economical feasibility. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps: 1) producing water concentrate powder by extracting red ginseng with water, and drying the water concentrate to make the same into powder; 2) producing an alcohol concentrate concentrated by extracting solids remaining after extracting the same from the step 1) with alcohol; and 3) coating the water concentrate powder of the step 1) with the alcohol concentrate of the step 2), and making the same into powder. Compared to conventional red ginseng water extract powder, ginsenoside Rg1+Rb1+Rg3 is reinforced, and damp proof properties and fluidity are excellent. Thus, the method of the present invention can be usefully used in the market of functional foods including red ginseng powder.
