PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and accurately affix an adhesive sheet for reinforcement or vibration suppression to a workpiece that includes irregular or curved portions.SOLUTION: An affixing roller 27 is provided with a plurality of rows of brush bristles at a predetermined interval on a roller surface, the brush bristles being rooted in linear or spiral fashion on the surface. An adhesive sheet S is affixed to a workpiece W which is an adherend, while the affixing roller and the work piece are moved relative to each other so as to intersect each other. In this affixing process, the rotation speed of the affixing roller 27 is adjusted in accordance with the surface shape of the workpiece W so that the pressure on the adhesive sheet S is constant. |
