Provided is an adhesive sheet having a resin layer on a base member or release member, at least the surface (α) of the resin layer at the reverse side from the side provided to the base member or release member having adhesive properties, wherein concavities are present on the surface (α) and the shape of the concavities is irregular. The adhesive sheet has favorable adhesive properties and has superior air release characteristics such that air collections that can arise when the adhesive sheet is pasted to an adhesion subject can be easily eliminated.
