The invention relates to a tyre (10) including a knitted fabric (44) including: columns of loop, loops in a same column being arranged such as to follow one another substantially along a general direction, referred to as the main direction; and rows of loop, loops in a same row being arranged such as to be beside one another substantially along a general direction, referred to as the transverse direction. The knitted fabric (44) includes first and second areas (451, 452) of the knitted fabric (44) which each have, at least in either the main or the transverse direction, a force at 100 % elongation FT100 and FS100, respectively, fitting the equation FS100 < FT100, each force FT100 andFS100 being determined on the basis of a force/elongation curve obtained by applying ISO standard 13934-1:2013 to the knitted fabric prior to the integration thereof in the tyre (10).
