A method and device for setting color ring tone and determining color ring tone music, which relates to terminal field, is provided in the embodiments of the present invention, realizes that automatically setting the color ring tone music of a terminal device based on the user circumstances and improves the user experience of the terminal device. The technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present invention includes: a current value of a circumstances parameter of the terminal device is obtained, the circumstances parameter indicates the features of the circumstances to which the terminal device is applied, and the circumstances parameter includes any one or more combinations as following: location parameter, activity parameter and ring parameter; the current circumstances of the terminal device is determined based on the current value of the circumstances parameter; the color ring tone of the terminal device is set as the color ring music corresponding to the current situation. The present invention is applied to set color ring tone. |
