Provided is a horn antenna which achieves improved gain and directivity although being compact, and can be manufactured easily since the structure thereof is simple. The horn antenna includes a metallic horn (2) to the back end side of which a circular waveguide can be connected, and a dielectric horn (3) connected to the front end side thereof and having the same cross-sectional outer shape. The dielectric horn (3) is provided with a metallic horn filling part (32) in which a dielectric is filled from the front end to the back end of the metallic horn (2), a waveguide filling part (33) which is continuous with the back end of the metallic horn filling part (32) and filled into a predetermined length portion of the circular waveguide (1), and a horn part (36) which has a spatial shape conically spreading to the leading end side. |
