摘要 The present invention provides a positioning method for a balloon coating, with which it is possible to suitably set the thickness, morphology, and the like of a drug to be coated on a balloon. A positioning method for a balloon coating obtained by forming a coating layer (32) including a water-insoluble drug upon the outer surface of a balloon (30) of a balloon catheter (10), said method comprising a positioning step wherein a reference plane (A) is defined as a plane passing through the axial center of the balloon (30) and perpendicular to the extending direction of a dispensing tube (94) for delivering a coating liquid, and the dispensing tube (94) is positioned such that a virtual position (V) at which an opening (95) is positioned assuming no flexing of the dispensing tube (94) is located within the range of 0-40 degrees inclusive from the reference plane (A) in the direction of rotation of the balloon (30) in an area extending from the reference plane (A) toward a direction opposite the discharging direction of the dispensing tube (94).
