The invention relates to a pneumatic tyre for a vehicle, the interior of said tyre comprising a sound-proofing open-cell foam ring (9) which is adhesively attached to the opposite inner surface from the tread (1) and which is secured to the tyre by means of a self-sealing sealant (8). The sealant (8), at least directly after application, has the tackiness required to permit the foam ring (9) to adhere, and a closed-cell material ring (10) with a hermetic action is arranged between the sound-proofing open-cell foam ring (9) and the sealant (8), in order to prevent the diffusion of the sealant (8) into the open-cell foam ring (9).
