PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorption device which is a sound absorption device including an opening and a cavity part and can increase a sound absorption effect against a low-frequency sound, while suppressing a transmission sound, and to provide an electronic apparatus including the sound absorption device and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: In a sound absorption device 200 which includes a communication part forming plate 220 being a first member including an opening 202 and a cavity forming part 210 being a second member combined with the communication part forming plate 220, to form a cavity part 201, the communication part forming plate 220 includes a flange part 221 being an erection part forming the opening 220 and the material of the cavity forming part 210 is resin whose density is smaller than that of metal being the material of the communication part forming plate 220.
