PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the concentration of a solid constituent including corrosion products to be equal to or smaller than a reference value before restoring the operation of a plant after a long-term stop.SOLUTION: The operation method is a method to restore the operation of a nuclear power plant 10 after long-term stop of a plant. During the long-term stop of the nuclear power plant 10, solid corrosion products accumulated on the plant structural materials constituting the nuclear power plant 10 are removed by using a corrosion product removal device 22 capable of controlling the flow rate of coolant before restoring the operation.
