<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand dryer capable of improving visibility of an operation part for an operator while preventing a general user of the hand dryer from easily touching the operation part.SOLUTION: In a hand dryer, a main body case 2 includes a nozzle holding surface 7 opposing to a floor surface 12 and holding a nozzle part 4. A part of the nozzle holding surface 7 includes a recession 11 recessed in the direction of an electric blower 3. The recession 11 includes a first plane 14 inclined with respect to a horizontal surface. The first plane 14 is inclined in the direction of the floor surface 12 from the front surface side of the main body case 2 to a wall surface 1 side being the rear surface side of the main body case 2.
