TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND REPACKETIZATION METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a repacketization module which is positioned on a path where multimedia data is transmitted to a telecommunication device in a telecommunication system. According to the present invention, the repacketization module comprises: a packet input unit for receiving a packet to be transmitted to a telecommunication device to separate a packet header from the packet, and extracting multimedia packet data; a decoder for decoding the extracted multimedia packet data to generate a multimedia signal; a play time control unit for controlling a play time of the decoded multimedia signal; an encoder for encoding the multimedia signal having the play time controlled to configure multimedia packet data having the play time controlled; and a packet output unit for adding the packet header to the multimedia packet data having the play time controlled to repacketize the same. The repacketization module controls the play time of the multimedia data based on a backhaul delay time of a handover target base station while the telecommunication device performs the handover to the handover target base station, and the backhaul delay time is pre-calculated by the telecommunication system.
