PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft sealing structure for a rotary pump, which enhances shaft sealability of the rotary pump and thereby enhancing pump performance.SOLUTION: A sealing structure for a rotary pump includes a rotary shaft part 20 which is provided integrally with a rotor 19 of the rotary pump in an extending manner in a shaft longitudinal direction so as to rotate the rotor 19 inside a cylinder 10 and is rotary driven accompanying the rotor 19 by transmission of power thereto. The sealing structure also includes a shaft sealing ring 50 arranged between the rotor 19 and a bearing 40 receiving the rotary shaft part 20, mounted by being fitted to a ring-shaped groove part 30 formed in the rotary shaft part 20 so as to rotate therewith for sealing the shaft by being interposed between the rotary shaft part 20 and a shaft hole inner peripheral surface 15a of a housing 15, and formed of a material having a higher thermal expansion coefficient than the rotary shaft part 20 and the housing 15 so as to thermally expand and generate required sealability. |
