PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately manage an image to be formed in accordance with a situation where an image is formed.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming part for forming an image on a sheet on the basis of image data; an output image reading part for reading the sheet on which the image is formed by the image forming part to generate formed image data; a data storage part for storing various data; an attribute information generation part for identifying the content of the formed image data to generate attribute information indicating the attributes; and a control part for controlling image formation by the image forming part, reading by the output image reading part and storage by the data storage part. The control part controls storage by the data storage part about formed image related information related to the formed image data on the basis of the attribute information.
