<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR gas scavenging device for engines that can scavenge EGR gas remaining within an intake system of the engine and that can prevent corrosion or the like of the intake system due to condensation water generated by condensation of the EGR gas within the intake system.SOLUTION: An EGR gas scavenging device 1 includes: a low pressure EGR device 50 for recirculating part of exhaust gas from a downstream side of a turbine 23 to an upstream side of a compressor 21; a vacuum pump 11 for providing the inside of a negative pressure tank 70 with negative pressure when an engine 10 is in an operating state; a first solenoid valve 71 interposed in piping 73 for communicating an intercooler 34 with the negative pressure tank 70; a second solenoid valve 72 interposed in piping 74 for communicating the vacuum pump 11 with the negative pressure tank 70; and a valve control section 82 that, after the engine is operated, closes the solenoid valve 71 and opens the second solenoid valve 72 and that, after the engine is stopped, opens the first solenoid valve 71 and closes the second solenoid valve 72.</p> |
