The invention relates to air-generating and dispensing equipment that is compact, silent and versatile for significantly and controllably removing mites, disinfecting, deodorising and/or aromatising surfaces to be treated, which includes a generating unit consisting of a casing (100), having pumps (121, 122, 123) configured inside said casing (100); also comprising at least one ionising device (110), ozonising device (111) and aromatising device (112); and at least one ozonising timer (131), ionising timer (132) and aromatising timer (133); wherein the generating unit is connected to an air dispenser (200) which consists of an inflatable blanket made of two interconnected layers. The invention also relates to a method for significantly removing mites, disinfecting, deodorising and/or aromatising and to an air generator and dispenser which dispenses air in a room, dispensing conditioned air during a first time period and dispensing unconditioned air during a second time period.
