The present invention is a control unit mounting arrangement for a motorcycle comprising: a utility box arranged below the motorcycle seat; a control unit controlling an engine, arranged inside of said utility box; characterized in that: said control unit is arranged in an oblique direction widthwise from the body of the motorcycle as viewed in a top view, the oblique direction defining a longitudinal axis of said control unit in said oblique direction, and an electrical component arranged with its longitudinal axis parallel to said longitudinal axis of said control unit in said oblique direction and in a space obliquely rearwards of the control unit.
