The present invention relates to an electronic device and a method for obtaining image data. The electronic device includes: a camera obtaining a preview image and an image content; and an image processing module which generates feature information by checking the preview image and related information and generates image data by adding at least one piece of feature information to the image content obtained from the preview image.
