<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the characteristic change of a heat resistant member by a simpler method.SOLUTION: A heat resistant member 10 comprises: a member 12 to be protected; and a metal oxide ceramic protective layer 14 formed on a part or the whole of the surface of the member 12 to be protected and having a porosity of 0 vol.% or more and 5 vol.% or less. The heat resistant member 10 is manufactured through the protective layer formation step of sintering the member 12 to be protected having a metal raw material in a temperature range lower than the melting point of the oxide of the metal raw material in the atmosphere to form the metal oxide ceramic protective layer 14 having a porosity of 0 vol.% or more and 5 vol.% or less on the part or the whole of the surface of the member 12 to be protected. In the protective layer formation step, the member 12 to be protected having the metal raw material may be sintered in a range of 400°C or more and 900°C or less.</p> |
