<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing polyarylene sulfide with higher purity and less weight reduction during heating at low temperature in short time by using a more stable catalyst compound with resolving problem that there is much conversion which needs high temperature and long time, has not enough high polymerization degree and not enough promotion effect and stability of a catalyst during conversion of cyclic polyarylene sulfide to polyarylene sulfide.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing polyarylene sulfide including heating cyclic polyarylene sulfide in a presence of a support type transition metal catalyst where a supporter is a fibrous material.</p> |
