PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel CCK secretion-promoting substance and use thereof.SOLUTION: A cholecystokinin secretion-promoting composition of the present invention is acrylic acid and/or unsaturated aldehyde at least having a double bond at 2-position or 4-position, and having 4 to 12 carbon atoms in the main chain, however, if the position of the double bond is only at 2-position, having 4 to 9 carbon atoms in the main chain. If the position of the double bond is only at 4-position, the unsaturated aldehyde having 9 to 12 carbon atoms in the main chain is contained as the active ingredient. This cholecystokinin secretion-promoting composition can be used as an anorectic agent. By adding the cholecystokinin secretion-promoting composition of the present invention to food product, an appetite-suppressing food can be provided. |
