PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure appropriate image quality and operate while suppressing wasteful power consumption as much as possible.SOLUTION: A projection device includes: a light source 15; projection systems (11 to 14, 16 and 17) which form an optical image according to an image signal to be input using light from the light source 15; imaging systems (28 to 32) which measure distance to a projection surface projected by the projection systems (11 to 14, 16 and 17); a CPU 33 which variably sets an operation mode including adjusting brightness of the optical image emitted from the projection systems (11 to 14, 16 and 17) according to measurement result; and a projected light drive section 27. |
