PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent for detecting a target matter having a high reactivity to a target matter and superior in storage stability, a carrier used for detecting the target matter, a preparation method of the carrier and a detection method of the target matter capable of ensuring a high sensitivity and a repeatability.SOLUTION: There is provided;: a carrier including a dimer WFA which is stabilized in a solid-phase carrier; a reagent for detecting a target matter containing the carrier; a detection method for detecting the target matter contained in a composite by allowing the carrier to come into contact with a sample which includes the target matter to form a composite which includes the dimer WFA and the target matter on the solid-phase carrier; a preparation method of the carrier in which the WFA is allowed to dimer to obtain the dimer WFA, and the obtained dimer WFA is stabilized in a solid-phase carrier to obtain a dimer WFA stabilization carrier.
