[Problem] To achieve more appropriate task distribution by taking into account the power state of devices. [Solution] Provided is an electronic device connected to a network which has: a power state detection unit which acquires information indicating the power state of one or multiple devices connected to the network; a device selection unit which selects, on the basis of the aforementioned power state, one of the one or multiple devices to process a task of the electronic device; and a request transmission unit which transmits a task processing request to the selected device. |
