POWER CONTROLLING METHOD AND DEVICE

A power controlling method and a device are provided by the present application. The method includes the following steps: receiving information sent by a base station in a neighbor cell and used for indicating an Interference Over Thermal (IOT) level of the neighbor cell; adjusting an interference threshold of a User Equipment (UE) in the local cell with the information indicating the IOT level of the neighbor cell; determining a target signal interference noise ratio of the UE according to the interference threshold; controlling the uplink power of the UE with the target signal interference noise ratio. The present application reduces the interference of the uplink power to the neighbor cell and improves communication quality.
