A vehicle parking lock device, wherein oil pressure for which line pressure is regulated by a linear solenoid valve (42) is supplied to a hydraulic brake (41) by a switching valve (43) actuated by a first solenoid valve (32D), whereby a transmission is gear-shifted. When a parking lock is not to be actuated while an engine is stopped, the linear solenoid valve (42) is selectively connected to a drain oil channel (L7) by the first solenoid valve (32D) and oil pressure accumulated in accumulators (37, 38) is discharged into the drain oil channel (L7), ensuring that the oil pressure accumulated in the accumulators (37, 38) is not supplied to a locking oil chamber (29B) in the other end of a hydraulic actuator (25). The first solenoid valve (32D) is used for both controlling the actuation of the hydraulic brake (41) and discharging the oil pressure accumulated in the accumulators (37, 38). This makes it possible to reduce the total number of solenoid valves, and reduce the number of components in a hydraulic circuit (31). |
