Provided are a method and a system for measuring communication quality that are capable of suppressing the processing load at a communication terminal device and of flexibly performing a variety of communication quality measurements for communications over a mobile communication network. The present invention distributes measurement conditions for communication quality to a communication terminal device that can communicate over a mobile communication network, and communicates with the communication terminal device over the mobile communication network at prescribed timing that satisfies the measurement conditions. Then the present invention acquires terminal-side measurement data that includes terminal condition log information that is recorded at the communication terminal device and that corresponds to the prescribed timing and/or network-side measurement data that includes quality information for a base station that has the terminal in-zone, and on the basis of the terminal-side measurement data and/or the network-side measurement data, the present invention calculates an index value for the communication quality of the communications over the mobile communication network. |
