Provided are a sound reproduction system and a sound reproduction method that can reproduce music information, in a concert, live music performance or the like, with high reproducibility, thereby improving the realism. The sound reproduction system (100) comprises a sound source reproduction apparatus (101) for reproducing left-side and right-side original sound signals, which have been recorded on an original sound recording medium (101a), individually. Each of the left-side and right-side original sound signals as reproduced by the sound source reproduction apparatus (101) is reproduced and outputted via a pre-amplifier (102) as an original sound audible reproduced sound and an original sound non-audible reproduced sound. On the other hand, the left-side and right-side original sound signals as reproduced by the sound source reproduction apparatus (101) are converted by a pre-amplifier (120) to left-side and right-side crosstalk sound signals obtained by adding a part of each of the left-side and right-side original sound signals to the respective other thereof, and then each of the left-side and right-side crosstalk sound signals is reproduced and outputted as a crosstalk audible reproduced sound and a crosstalk non-audible reproduced sound. |
