A field flow fractionation technique-based separation channel and a resistance pulse technique-based particle detector are connected on-line, and particles within a liquid are measured non-destructively and with high sensitivity. A separation unit provided with a separation channel is provided with a plurality of split flow paths, at least one of the split flow paths being connected to a detection unit which is a measurement flow path provided with electrodes. The electrodes are connected to an electrochemical measurement unit, and an electrochemical characteristic across the electrodes is measured by the electrochemical measurement unit. |
