The present invention relates to an insulating spacer capable of obtaining sufficient performance of insulation even in a small size by effectively mitigating an electric field, and to a gas-insulated electrical device including the same. The insulating spacer according to the present invention is an insulating spacer interposed between an electrical conductor and a metallic tank so that the electrical conductor can be placed while being separated from the metallic tank, which envelops the outer side of the electrical conductor. The insulating spacer comprises: a central conductor electrically connected to the electrical conductor; an outer shielding member which is a conductor and is configured to be electrically connected to the metallic tank; and an insulating member composed of an insulating material, enveloping the outer shielding member so that the outer shielding member cannot be exposed to a space between the electrical conductor and the metallic tank, and configured to fixate the central conductor to the metallic tank. The outer shielding member has a curved surface part which is convex toward the central axis of the insulating spacer. According to the insulating spacer of the present invention, the size of a gas-insulated electrical device can be made smaller by mitigating an electric field at a joining point, thereby improving the performance of insulation. Accordingly, costs for manufacturing a gas-insulated electrical device can be reduced. |
