<p>A plastic truck bed canopy comprises an upper shell member, a lower shell member, a left beam, a right beam, a left rail and a right rail. The upper shell member is 5 made of a single sheet plastic that is formed into a canopy shape. The lower shell member is made of a single sheet plastic that is formed into a canopy shape. The ceiling of the lower shell member is formed with a left ridge thereby forming a left groove under the ceiling of the lower shell member and a right ridge thereby forming a right groove under the ceiling of the lower shell member. The upper shell member is bonded to the lower 10 shell member with adhesive. The left beam is arranged within the left groove. The right beam is arranged within the right groove. The left rail is fastened to the left beam via holes on the lower shell member and the upper shell member.
