PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power supply device for a vehicle, which can operate an electric load of a large electric power consumption only with electric power from a DC/Dc converter at engine restarting.SOLUTION: A converter (10, 20) for stepping down the voltage of electric power stored in a second power storage device (4) and supplying the electric power to an on-vehicle electric load (5) comprises current limitation means (12) for limiting an output current to a predetermined current upper limit value, and comprises current limitation releasing means (20) for releasing the limitation to the predetermined current upper limit value by the current limitation means (12) when a restarting condition of an engine is satisfied. |
