PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite sinter body having high intensity without providing a special coat layer which may result in cost increase of the ferrite sinter body, an electronic component using the ferrite sinter body and having high intensity, and a power supply device using the electronic component and having high reliability.SOLUTION: A compression strain is provided from the outermost surface to the inside of a ferrite sinter body 1, in a range of 1/3 of thickness of the sinter body including the outermost surface.
