PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that inspects results of image formation output on the basis of a difference between a read image and an image for the inspection, which achieves appropriate inspection when images are formed on both faces of a recording medium.SOLUTION: The system acquires information about an image to be formed on a face to be inspected and information about an image to be formed on a rear face to be inspected, of the recording medium; acquires permeability showing a ratio by which the image formed on one face of the recording medium is viewed through the other face; corrects, on the basis of a correction value generated based on the information about the image to be formed on the rear face and the permeability, an image for inspection generated based on the images to be formed on the faces to be inspected; and performs inspection of a read image on the basis of results of comparing the corrected image for inspection and the read image. |
