PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrometallurgical process of nickel oxide ore by a high pressure acid exudation method achieving improvement of durability of a production facility, simplification of the production facility, suppression of cost and environmental risk by volume compression of a tailing dam storing waste and separation recovery of recyclable impurity components.SOLUTION: There is provided a hydrometallurgical process of nickel oxide ore for recovering nickel and cobalt by using a high pressure acid exudation method including at least one process selected from (A) process (process for separation and recovering chromite particles), (B-1) process (process for neutralizing a leachate by Mg-based neutralizing agent), and (B-2) process (process for neutralizing leach residue slurry by Mg-based neutralizing agent).
