A pipe lining assembly and a method for plugging a pipe line utilizing a pipe lining assembly are provided. The pipe lining assembly includes an inflatable bladder having a first end and a second end defining a cylindrical body, and a patch folded in a hat like shape disposed over the first end of the bladder. When the bladder is inflated inside a pipe line, the patch unfolds and plugs the pipe line i.e. stops fluid from flowing through the closed portion of the pipe line. |
