The invention relates to a method for producing portion packs (1), preferably laundry detergent and/or cleaning agent portion packs, which contain a product (3), comprising: a) providing a mould (6) having at least one mould cavity (7); b) feeding a water-soluble film (5) to the mould cavity (7); c) forming an open chamber (8) in the mould cavity (7) by deforming the water-soluble film (5); d) filling the open chamber (8) with product (3); e) positioning a water-soluble and dimensionally stable cover (11) over the open chamber (8); f) applying the cover (11) to the chamber (8) in order to seal (9) the portion pack (1) in a sealing region (13).
