The present invention relates to a site monitoring method and a site monitoring apparatus using the camera. A site monitoring method using the camera of a site monitoring apparatus comprises the steps of: receiving, wirelessly, an image of a site from a camera module mounted on a helmet of a first user; detecting at least one head portion of a second user in the image, and recognizing information of the second user corresponding to the detected head portion; extracting information of a camera module on the second user side corresponding to the recognized information from a user DB; and transmitting a command of interrupting transmission of the image to the camera module of the extracted second user. According to the site monitoring method and site monitoring apparatus using the camera, it is possible to monitor the surrounding environment and safety of a worker in real time by receiving image information from a camera module mounted on the helmet of a user existing in a site, a worker emergency is detected and can be notified to nearby workers, thus speeding up the response to an accident. |
