PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extra-cellular matrix capable of maintaining and culturing a stem cell in a feeder-free culture environment while pluripotency is held, a cell culture method and an iPS cell establishment method using the extra-cellular matrix, and a culture substrate on which the extra-cellular matrix is coated.SOLUTION: There are provided recombinant laminin in which a cell proliferation control cell is bound to at least one of N-terminal of α-chain, C-terminal of α-chain, N-terminal of &bgr;-chain and N-terminal of γ-chain of laminin or a laminin fragment that forms a heterotrimer, a culture method and an iPS cell establishment method in which a cell is cultured in the presence of the recombinant laminin, and a culture substrate for human stem cell in which the recombinant laminin is coated. |
