PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of setting a region without using an input device.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus retains marker information which includes a marker capable of identifying a type by a shape, a pattern or a color, acquires an image in which at least one marker is imaged, and by reference to the marker, detects the type and the position of each marker imaged in the image. Based on the detected position(s) of one or more types of markers in the image, the image processing apparatus divides the image into a plurality of regions which include at least one type of markers and do not have a mutually common area. |
