PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for lithium secondary battery electrodes which is less in chips produced in cutting, and superior in active material dispersibility, adhesiveness and ion conductive, and by which a high-capacity lithium secondary battery can be manufactured when the amount of a binder added is small.SOLUTION: A composition for lithium secondary battery electrodes comprises: an active material; a binder; and an organic solvent. The binder includes a polyvinyl acetal resin having a constitutional unit with a hydroxyl group, a constitutional unit with an acetyl group, a constitutional unit with an acetal group, and a constitutional unit expressed by a formula (4). In the polyvinyl acetal resin including 1-20 mol% of the constitutional unit expressed by the formula (4), the degree of polymerization is 250-4000. (In the formula (4), Rrepresents a group having a nitrile group.) |
