PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element which improves emission efficiency, reduces power consumption and prolongs the lifetime.SOLUTION: In the light-emitting element, a light-emitting layer 214, a first layer 212 and a second layer 215 are included between an anode 202 and a cathode 204. The first layer is provided between the light-emitting layer and the anode, and the second layer is provided between the light-emitting layer and the cathode. The first layer includes a first organic compound and a second organic compound. The first organic compound has hole transportability and an ionization potential of the second organic compound is greater than that of the first organic compound by 0.5 eV or more. The second organic compound is dispersed in the first organic compound. The second layer includes a third organic compound and a fourth organic compound. The third organic compound has electron portability, the fourth organic compound is a phosphorescent compound (excluding FIrpic), and the fourth organic compound is dispersed in the third organic compound. |
