<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer body that is excellent in durability and contact performance to a photoreceptor or a recording medium, and an image forming apparatus that includes the intermediate transfer body.SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer belt 10 has a base layer 12, an elastic layer 14, and a surface layer 16 overlapped in this order. The elastic layer 14 is composed of a rubber material, and has a surface on the surface layer 16 side composed of a halogenation processing part 141. The surface layer 16 is manufactured through polymerization of a tri- or more functional (meth)acrylic acid derivative on the elastic layer 14.</p> |
