PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic resistance section and an acoustic structure capable of exerting a favorable unprecedented acoustic effect by further improving sound scattering effects and sound absorption effects than before.SOLUTION: An acoustic resistance member 4 is disposed at the front face 2a of an extending hollow tube section 2 whose inside is a hollow space 2d, and includes a sound wave introduction section 5 that communicates outside of the hollow tube section 2 with the hollow space 2d and is capable of introducing at least part of the sound from outside of the hollow tube section 2 into the inside of the hollow space 2d, and a sound wave scattering section 6 capable of scattering at least part of the sound from the outside of the hollow tube section 2 by presenting a nonplanar front face in the front face 2a.
