Provided is a pipe joint provided with a flanged release sleeve capable of being used as a safety component. The pipe joint according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a backup ring which is provided inside a joint main body, and which secures a locking ring provided with a claw for holding a tube; a collar which is secured to the joint main body at the side of an insertion opening for the tube, and which secures the backup ring in a retained state with respect to the joint main body; and a release sleeve which is provided to the collar so as to be capable of advancing and retracting inside the collar, and which, during removal of the tube, presses the claw of the locking ring rearwards to release the engagement between the tube and the claw. The release sleeve has a flange formed at the side of the insertion opening for the tube. A plurality of slits are formed in the flange. |
