Provided is a management computer, which takes, as management subjects, a plurality of physical computers having hardware resources whereon a program for parallel distributed processing and a program for virtual machine processing respectively run, said management computer comprising: a load information storage unit which links virtual machine load information which is collected from each of the physical computers and denotes load associated with the running of the program for virtual machine processing with each of the physical computers and stores same; and a processing subject management unit which, if a parallel distributed processing execution request is received from a processing request source, segments a processing subject for which the parallel distributed processing execution request is made into a plurality of processing units according to a data size of the processing subject, and allocates one of each of the processing units to each of the physical computers. When allocating each of the processing units, the processing subject management unit refers to the virtual machine load information, determines the allocation quantity of each of the processing units according to the virtual machine load of each of the physical computers, and sets the processing units in the parallel distributed processing for each of the physical computers on the basis of the determination. |
