The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrode current collector and a method for manufacturing an electrode by using the electrode current collector manufactured by the same. The method for manufacturing an electrode current collector includes: a step of arranging an electrode plate (S1); and a step of coating a graphene layer onto at least one surface of the electrode plate by using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) (S2). The present invention can prevent oxidation of the electrode plate and suppress the oxidation and reduction reaction of an electrolyte by coating the graphene onto one or more surfaces of the electrode plate through CVD. Furthermore, the present invention can enhance the conductivity of the electrode by coating the graphene having excellent electrical conductivity onto the electrode plate, thereby implementing a high-energy lithium secondary battery.
