The drive device (10) has a blow mold (13), a mandrel tip (18) and a radial end surface (16). A drive unit is connected to the blow mold. A mandrel (12) is formed with a circular pinch having an upwardly tapered surface (21) which is urged towards the radial outer region from which the neck of blow channel starts. A slider (31) is movably fixed to the mandrel and the thrust elements (39). The axial extent of mandrel is adjusted such that the circular pinch of mandrel is pressed against the conical bearing surface of the blow mold.
