PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device capable of irradiating light incident from a point light source by changing into linear light sufficiently diffused, and an image reading device and an image formation device using the same.SOLUTION: As for a light guide member 124 of long shape, which converts light incident into an incident surface 124A formed at one end in longitudinal direction from a point light source such as an LED for irradiating light, into a linear shape light and irradiates from a light-emitting surface 124C, a light diffusion shape such as fine and unevenness shape for diffusing light is formed by grain finishing a partial region R1 near the incident surface 124A in the light-emitting surface 124C or the whole region of the light-emitting surface 124C. |
