<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus in which a light emitting element constituting a light irradiation part hardly fails, and which can continue recording even when a failure occurs in the process of recording. <P>SOLUTION: This recording apparatus includes: a recording head 15 having a nozzle column 5 for ejecting a photoreactive liquid C to a recording object material; and a light irradiation part 19 including light emitting element columns 39 each formed by arranging, in the same direction as that of the nozzle column 5, light emitting elements 41 for irradiating the ejected photoreactive liquid with light to chemically change the photoreactive liquid. The light irradiation part is arranged with a plurality of the light emitting element columns 39, wherein the whole or a part of the respective light emitting elements 41 in each light emitting element column 39 are serially connected in the row direction, and includes PWM control circuits each capable of executing control to increase, when a failure of a short mode occurs in one or more of the plurality of serially-connected light emitting elements 41, a current value flowing to the plurality of light emitting elements relative to that before the failure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
